The omega-3 fatty acids in krill oil are absorbed into the bloodstream efficiently because they are bound to easily utilized water-soluble phospholipids that do not require enzymes in the small intestine to be absorbed into the bloodstream.
Krill oil is made from krill plankton, which is harvested from the cleanest waters in the world - near Antarctica. The krill plankton is caught using the Ecoharvest method, away from factories, shipping and waste. This method minimizes bycatch, i.e. the capture of other seafood.
